Just get the pictures. I’ve never once met someone who said, “I really regret getting those pictures taken”…but I have met plenty of people (myself included) who’ve said, “I really wish I would’ve gotten those pictures taken when I had the chance”. Life is fleeting. Your kids are growing every single day. We’re all getting older every single day. As much as we document daily moments now more than ever before through our phones, there’s something to be said for investing in actual photos. Photos that won’t get lost when your phone crashes, or we forget a password for an account and can’t recover them. Photos that our future generations will be able to have to look back on. Photos that WE can look back on in years to come. Don’t second guess it; don’t worry about feeling awkward; don’t wish you would’ve gotten them when you had the chance - just get the pictures.
